Are there any side effects?

As with all medicines, some side effects have been reported. Commonly reported side effects by women who have used Cerazette (desogestrel) include:

  • Acne
  • Breast pain
  • Headache
  • Libido (sexual desire) changes
  • Mood changes
  • Nausea
  • Weight gain

Other side effects that have been reported are uncommon or rare, such as skin rashes. It is important that you tell your doctor if you develop any side effects or reactions, even if you are not sure whether or not they may be related to Cerazette.
